USEFUL INFORMATIONS OF THE EVENT

SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

TABLE-TENNIS
Location of the tournament: Veresegyház, Gym
Disciplines: competition in pairs
Team members: 2 (1 woman, 1 man)
Minimum number: 2 (1 woman, 1 man)
Number of tables: 2
Jury: 1
Game rules: until 2 won sets
Set winning: 11 scores, with a difference of 2 scores
Rules of tournament: rounds during team matches, cross matches between the two first winners of the teams, classification matches
Decision on the result in the case of a tie: set ratio, scores
Decision on the places in the case of round wins: match ratio, set ratio, draw

Other provisions:
The results are counted by the players themselves
The jury may be requested to decide in the case of disputes in relation to the tournament rules
There is no waiting time
The players provide for their rackets
40 mm tennis-balls are provided by the organiser, taking into consideration that each match is played with a new ball.
Special price for the woman and man winning the most sets.

 

FOOTBALL
Location of the tournament: Veresegyház football pitch
Disciplines: men’s and women’s championship
Team members: 10, 5 +1 per team on the pitch (minimum number: 5 + 1)
Number of pitches: 4 grassy pitches
Pitch size: 20 x 40 m
Gate size: 3 x 2 m
Game time: 2 x 10 minutes for team matches and qualifications
2 x 15 minutes for the finals
Referee: 1/match, for finals: 2/match

Rules of tournament:
Round matches for team matches
Cross matches for the first two winners of the teams
Qualifications: direct elimination or round match depending on the number of team
Decision on places: More scores
Results against each other
Difference between the number of goals
More goals scored

Procedure during the round match
Scoring in the case of round matches: win: 3 points; draw: 1 point
Procedure during cross matches: in the case of tie: 3-3 penalty kicks, in the case of equal results: in pairs until decision
Procedure during round matches: if two or more teams have identical results at the end of the round match, 3-3 penalty kicks decide the places, and in the case of equal results, kicks are repeated in pairs until the decision

Other provisions:
The organiser must provide minimum two balls size 5 per pitch.
Boots with rubber studs and moulded soles are allowed
Special prizes for goal kings, the best goal-keepers (women and men).

 

STREETBALL
Location of the tournament: Veresegyház, mobile ground
Discipline: mixed team tournament
Team members: 6 (3 per team on the ground, including at least 1 woman)
Minimum number is 3, including 1 woman
Number of grounds: 2
Official persons/ground: 1 referee
Rules of tournament: In accordance with the rules of game specified by the tournament, after the team matches.
Decision on places: Win is 2 scores, while defeat is 1 score
In case of identical scores, the results against each other, and then the difference between the baskets will decide.
Scoring: 3-score hits receive 2 scores, 2-score hits receive one
Rules related to the game time: 1 x 13 minutes with a running clock, the last two minutes with a standing clock or until 13 scores.
In the case of a tie, until the first basket.

Other provisions:
The organiser must provide two balls per ground.
The organiser must provide the balls and, if necessary, the dresses.

Prizes:
The player with the most scores receives a special prize.

 

RELAY RUN
Location of the tournament: Veresegyház, athletic ground
Disciplines: mixed team tournament
Team members: 6 (3 women, 3 men)
Minimum number: 6
Number of tracks: depending on the number of entrants
Cover of tracks: tartan
Jury: 4
Length of tournament: 2400 m, 400 m per competitor
Relay zone length: 20 m

The races are arranged between the football matches, and are adjusted to them.

Other provisions:
The compositions of the teams and the order of running must be announced before the tournament, and deviations are allowed only in the case of injuries.
The competitors may use the first track after the first 100 m, and they may run only within their track until that point.
The relay technique is not regulated, relay is possible only within the zone, and time penalty is charged in the case of a faulty relay
The members of the team (except for the first ones) may start to run only 10 m before the relay area
Each runner must run the whole 400 metre length, and it is not enough to hand over the baton
The organiser does not provide boots.
It is forbidden to accompany the competitor by running at the edge of the track (and thereby to incite him or her to perform better).

 

SWIMMING
Location of the tournament: Veresegyház Sport Swimming Poo
Time: 10:00-12:00
Discipline: mixed team tournament
Team members: 6 (3 women, 3 men)
Number of tracks: 4
Type of swimming: optional
Number of time-keepers: 4
Rules of tournament: 6 x 50 m free style
Time metering: Manual time metering

 

TABLE SOCCER
Location of the tournament: Veresegyház
Number of tracks: 2
Team members: 2 member teams (including 1 woman)
Rules of tournament: Round matches, according to the ITSF rules

Prizes:
Team cup for the 1st place, certificates for other places.
Special prize is given to the best team.

 

PARK VOLLEYBALL
Location of the tournament: Veresegyház, grassy area
Number of grounds: 2 pcs
Ground size: standard volleyball size
Team members: 6, (including at least 2 women)
Game time: until 2 won sets
Referee: 1

Rules of tournament:
They depend on the number of entrants.
The matches are played until 2 won sets
Scoring: Win - 2 scores

In case of identical scores, the results against each other, and then the difference between the scores will decide.

 

SQUASH
Location of the tournament: Energym
Team members: 2 (1 woman, 1man)
Disciplines: team matches
Minimum team members: 2
Number of fields: 2
Jury: 1

 

CROSSFIT
Location of the tournament: Veresegyház, grassy area
Team members: 4 (including at least 2 women)
Number of grounds: 2
Trackman: 1
Scoring:The competitors perform the task by time, and one properly performing all the tasks within the shortest time will win. The results of the best female competitor and of the best male competitor are taken into account in the combined result.

Rules of tournament:
Within the specified time interval, more than one competitors may start to perform the task, but any competitor may compete only once in the time interval.

You can take part on the event at your own responsibility.
With your questions and requests you can contact the organizers at the InfoPoint next to the sport fields.
You can change for sport clothes at the main building.
Please wear the wristband during the whole event.
You are allowed to smoke only at the entrance of the plant at the smoking area.
Please wear your armbend during the event.

Bus: departure from Újpest-Városkapu - thorugh Fót - arrival: corner of the road to GE Power
Train: from Nyugati Railway Station. Arrival to "Ivacs" station. It takes approximately 20 minutes walk to the main entrance to GE Power

GENERAL RELEASE

For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, I hereby agree as follows:

1. I hereby give and grant to General Electric Company and its divisions, subsidiaries, licensees, agents, successors and assigns (collectively "GE") the right to photograph, record and/or videotape me and the perpetual, worldwide right to use, publish and display my name (as listed below), biographical material, voice, image, likeness, appearance and performance (the “Materials") in all media and in all forms, now known or later developed, including, but not limited to, print, video, audio, television or the internet, for use in advertising and promotion of GE and any of its products or services, without further compensation to me or any limitation whatsoever.

2. I agree that all Materials are owned by GE, and that GE may copyright the same, and I release any rights I may have with respect to the Materials. If I obtain a copy of any or all of the Materials, I shall not authorize their use by anyone else.

 

3. I agree that the Materials need not be submitted to me for any further approval and that GE shall be without liability to me for any distortion or illusionary effect resulting from the use or publication of the Materials.

4. Nothing herein shall constitute any obligation on GE to make any use of any of the rights set forth herein.

5. I warrant and represent that the rights granted herein do not in any way conflict with any existing commitment on my part to other parties and I hereby expressly release and agree to indemnify GE from and against any and all claims, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with the above granted uses and representations.

6. I acknowledge that this General Release shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to its conflict of laws provisions, and constitutes the entire agreement between myself and GE with respect to the Materials.

 

7. I hereby certify and represent that I am over 18 years of age and have read the foregoing and fully understand the meaning and effect thereof.

 

I, the undersigned, hereby warrant that I am the parent or legal guardian of the individual named above, a minor, and have full authority to authorize the above General Release, which I have read, understood and approved`. I hereby release and agree to indemnify GE from and against any and all claims, known or unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with the rights granted by, and the representations made in, the above General Release.

 

LIABILITY STATEMENT

for children (younger than 16) entering

1. The undersigned hereby declare that I enter the building with my child and I take care of him/her and keep the following rules:

- do not leave my child unattended and I tahe care of him/her
- I only attend office space with my child, I do not take him/her to facility related areas (mailroom, control room, etc.), ETC (Healthcare European Training Center)
- In case of emergency I help my child leave the building safely
- As a parent I take all responsibility for accidents that may happen to my child

I understand that any accident or injury of the child that may occur is not in connenction with my employment.
